Ate dinner at Maginhawa tonight and just some random thoughts:
1.) Let's get this out from the get go: Holy shit there are so many new establishments there now!
2.) There is a potato corner in Maginhawa! If I were still living there I'd probably be an avid customer.
3.) The more things change, the more they stay the same. It was cool to see the old staples like Aling Fe's (Ate Fe's) and Grill Queen, among others.
4.) Speaking of Grill Queen, we ate at the new Grill Queen. It was near Sterten Place, where I stayed for 1+ years during my undergrad years. Lot's of memories made there.
5.) And finally, speaking of old places and memories, on our way to PhilCoa, we passed by the corner entering Makatarungan Street. If we are talking about undergrad memories, then MK takes the cake and more.
It was a nice little relaxing trip down memory lane, and at the same time a reminder that life is constantly on the move and waits for no one. That being said, we should always treasure all the memories and persons that are important to us. :)
