1.) Read this article about motivation (read it too! It's a great read). My takeaway, to motivate people is to make them feel progress in something that they are invested in. No need to say that it is easier said than done, but it is an interesting and intriguing thought that I feel like is way more right than wrong. Of course different people get motivated in different ways, but I still think this article gave a great answer to the question of how to motivate people.
2.) Another article coming up, this time about the Eraserheads. Fun fun read, and made me listen to the 'Heads right after reading it.
3.) Those who call for war must be willing and able to be the one to be first sent to the front lines. Also, enough grandstanding. But I guess I'm not surprised.
4.) Hive mind is scary. Hive mind in SMS is both scary and amusing. Overly aggressive hive mind is a pet peeve of mine. HIIIIVEEE MIIIIND.
5.) I have an exam on Saturday, and this is my thought as of the moment:
Seriously, Tryon 3 Gundam was a pleasure to watch. With all those references to the various super robot series (including Voltes V!), it was a nice little gesture to the robots that started my fascination with robots. I feel like a 1/100 MG is a must-have now. Hope they make one though!
7.) And finally, bacon. Why is bacon awesome? What would life be without bacon? Bacon is the alpha and the omega. Bacon puts the you in I love you. Bacon is life.
