Thinking Out Loud: Baby Names!

When I am doing nothing and just staring in the empty space, my mind wanders and thinks of various stuff. "How does my back look?" "Why is my heart beating so fast?" "What will I be eating tomorrow night?" "That flower doesn't look like a flower." "What would happen if it rained chocolate?" "That cloud looks like a dog with wings." "I'm sure there is a Gundam under the Sunken Garden." "What would I name my kids?"

..and then I sometimes stop at a certain question or statement and take a longer time thinking about it. Like say, "Why would I name my kids?"

Yes, I have already thought what to name my future babies.

Babies!
I would like to have a lot of kids, ideally six (but really, 4 to 8 would be fine). Three boys and three girls. Of course, all of this would happen, maybe 8-10 years in the future. Likewise, all of these would depend greatly on my future-wife-whoever-she-may-be. But hey, it wouldn't hurt to have a "thought exercise" like this every now and then. Plus, it's babies!

Babies!

Okay, so let's start! There would be three boys, and three girls. My first born would be a boy, then a girl, and the pattern continues until the 6th baby.

Babie...eh ain't they cute?

1st born -

Alexander Emmanuel

I just find it cool and powerful. Alexander comes from Alexander the Great, and Emmanuel from the Bible. Plus, it's also the name of one of my favorite athletes, New York Yankee and baseball player, Alex Rodriguez. Also neat that we share the same last name.

2nd born -

Mary Alexandria

As you would notice later, I love patterns. So each pair of kids would have names that follow a pattern of some sort. So for my first baby girl, I'd love to name her Mary Alexandria. Mary also coming from the bible, and Alexandria basically a male version of Alexander.

3rd born -

Xavier Charles

So basically, I flipped the name Charles Xavier from The X-Men, right? Well, yes and no. First, I really like the name Xavier. It just sounds so...edgy and modern, but with a touch of class. Something like that. Then at the same time, the name Charles could act as a tribute to my dad and brother. So yeah, there.

4th born -

Althea Iris

The 3rd and 4th names most probably are the ones that have least in common, but maybe them being unique is the common thing between them. The name Althea is just something I heard a few days ago, the most famous name for baby girls back in 2011/2012. The name Iris is just beautiful and elegant. Plus, I can tell her that I named her after a song.

5th born -

Ken ______

Okay, I forgot to mention above but I would love to have all my kids to have at least two names. It just feels more complete that way. Anyway, with this name, the name Ken comes from my name, KElviN. There is a blank because I would want his other name to be derived from her mom.

6th born -

_______ Rea

Same as above, her first first name comes from her mom, then the second name comes from me. My full name is Kelvin Rae, so Rea comes from Rae.

So there. In the end, a lot of this probably would depend on the mom, but still, it's kind of fun to think about it. It's not everyday you read something like this right?

Please don't judge me.
