Christmas day is just a few days away
Now my prayers and wishes for you I'll say
First in the list is pure happiness
Simply put you don't deserve all this sadness
But to pray for your happiness is not enough
So I'll do everything I can even if it's tough
All of it, just to see you once again smile and laugh
To be able to put behind the times that were rough
You might ask, "What's the next item on the list?"
Well if I may say, "A serving of peace of mind please!"
To finally make sure your thoughts are at ease
And also to ensure your worries do not increase
A mind at peace is one without uncertainties
To sleep with a smile at night is the gist
But wait, this isn't the last item on the list
There is one more that I just can't afford to miss
The last item is love, what else could it be?
I'm praying it's still pure from the way you see
'Cause love is still the most amazing gift ever
To give and to receive, now and forever
The Bible says that love is patient, love is kind
While some people insist that love is blind
For me, I never really knew what love is
'Till I found you, my beautiful little miss.
